I had high hopes with these, as they were the OE tire on my 2019 Royel Enfield Himalayan. On wet and dry pavement they never left me wanting for more grip, so in that respect I'd say they were fantastic tires. The problems arose once I tracked off the pavement. In looser terrain they feel mediocre and not at all predictable. There were times where I felt super confident until they just decided to completely break loose and cause mild panic along with visions of imminent death. I love the look of them and the tread pattern, but for a tire as aggressive looking as they are, they feel like an 80/20 and not the 60/40 advertised.
I rode them to 4800 miles on my Himalayan and while the front still has a lot of life left, the rear is toast. Simply put, I'd have reviewed them a bit higher if they weren't so pricey for what you seemingly get. Average at best, considering the cost. The problems arose once I tracked off the pavement. I bought this 30L bag and two 10L bags to use as a 50L system after my girlfriend bought a 30L for her bike.The mounting straps are easy to install, though some bikes might be more of a pain than others. That's not Kriega's fault though. Some subframes are just harder to get to than others. Especially my girlfriends CBR 250. I've got my eye on you, Honda! For the most part these bags are so well thought out, so distressingly /clever/ that they make me sick. The biggest downside to these bikes is the nature of the straps and the zippers make it difficult to get into the small pockets.
Pros:* Overall a clever, well thought out, waterproof design.* Comes with everything you need to easily attach to the bike* With a single bag you can clip on and clip off pretty quickly. Cons:* So clever it may result in nausea.* When using multiple bags you should expect some Kajiggering to get everything on the bike when you're getting ready to leave.
