Isaac Bonewits. What do Druidry, the Steampunk Movement, Nikola Tesla, Isaac Bonewits and Staten Island all have in common? Answer: Jeff Mach Jeff Mach Jeff Mach is a modern Druid and founder of New Jersey-based Widdershins, LLC (a.k.a. Jeff Mach Events), the production company behind the popular Steampunk World’s Fair, Wicked Faire and other similarly-themed events. More recently, he began producing The Geek Creation Show, a fundraising event to benefit the Tesla Museum at Wardenclyffe on Staten Island. Mach discovered Paganism while attending college at Rutgers University. I identify with the idea … that there’s something powerful [in] not simply in trying to see or be what Druids were, but in the strength of taking an ancient name and concept and using its connotations in the modern world.

Identifying the power of the historical within modern life is a theme that carries over from Mach’s spiritual practice to his mundane work. Mach calls Tesla a “visionary” and explains: Isaac-bonewits-witchcraft-a-concise-guide1. Isaac Bonewits. In 1966, while enrolled at UC Berkeley, Bonewits joined the Reformed Druids of North America, or RDNA. Author and Druid[edit] His first book, Real Magic, was published in 1972. In 1976, Bonewits moved back to Berkeley and rejoined his original grove there, now part of the New Reformed Druids of North America (NRDNA). Founder of Ár nDraíocht Féin[edit] In 1983, Bonewits founded Ár nDraíocht Féin (also known as "A Druid Fellowship" or ADF), which was incorporated in 1990 in the state of Delaware as a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Although illness curtailed many of his activities and travels for a time, he remained Archdruid of ADF until 1996.

Musician and activist[edit] The Aquarian Manifesto with Historical Notes. All intelligent beings have the right to worship who, what, where, when, why, and how they wish; provided that they do not violate the similar rights of others.

The Aquarian Manifesto with Historical Notes

All intelligent beings have as well the right (some would say, “duty”) to develop their talents — mental, physical, psychic, and others — to the highest degree possible; subject as always to the equal rights of others. It is in this complex interplay of rights that the children of the Aquarian Age may be distinguished from their ancestors of previous ages. According to astrological tradition, the term “Aquarian Age” implies a time in which there is increased concern with the ways in which each individual can live by his or her own lights, while guaranteeing the same freedom to all others.

All those, therefore, who work for the greater evolution of consciousness and freedom may be justly called “Aquarians,” regardless of the day or year of their actual birth. Never Again the Burning!
