From 12/23/2008: Two of these three Vespa microcars include engines but none of them are running. All might be required to make one good car, but at least they can all fit on the same trailer. Their style is unique and their practicality is nearly unmatched on four wheels. Find them here on eBay in Costa Mesa, California with a reasonable reserve already met. Two of the cars are US-spec and one is a Euro-spec example. They came new with 393cc 2-stroke engines mounted in the rear and have doors hinged at the back for easy entry. Two of the cars have open tops and one has a metal roof and glass rear window. These cars would make an interesting project and can be had cheaper than some of the nicer Piaggio and Vespa 2-wheel machines.

Gadsby (novel) Gadsby: A Story of Over 50,000 Words Without Using the Letter "E" is a 1939 novel by Ernest Vincent Wright. The plot revolves around the dying fictional city of Branton Hills, which is revitalized thanks to the efforts of protagonist John Gadsby and a youth group he organizes.

The novel is written as a lipogram and does not include words that contain the letter "e". Though self-published and little-noticed in its time, the book is a favourite of fans of constrained writing and is a sought-after rarity among some book collectors. Later editions of the book have sometimes carried the alternative subtitle 50,000 Word Novel Without the Letter "E". In 1968, the novel entered the public domain in the United States due to failure to renew copyright in the 28th year after publication.[1] Fifty-year-old John Gadsby is alarmed by the decline of his hometown, Branton Hills, and rallies the city's young people to form an "Organization of Youth" to build civic spirit and improve living standards.

The Single Lane Super Highway. Geek Toys. 1,451 Dwarf Names « Dwarven Glory. (For those who arrived here via Google or Facebook, click here to learn about Dwarven Glory.) Asgårdian dwarves observe strict naming conventions which stretch back millennia. Player characters are limited to selecting names which are suitable to the old-school post-Ragnarök Norse milieu. Specifically, all Dwarven Glory PCs must select their names from products in the IKEA catalogue. In addition to the dwarf’s given name, a sobriquet or description must also be added for flavour. (I’ve gone through and struck out some names which are unsuitable or have been used already.) Matthew Schmeer of Rended Press has extracted the complete IKEA product list and produced the following 1,451 dwarf names. Thanks, Matthew! Ptroll's Photostream. Slushey's Photostream. RC buggy.
