The Shadow of Yesterday: The World of Near
Introduction The jailers approached Hanish's cell, stinking with the sweat of fear. The older one drew out his keys, fumbling to try and get one in the lock.Arkenstone Publishing » Solar System
Click to enlarge Go ahead and click that cover page (yes, this booklet doesn’t have a cover, that’s the first page), I explain the background rather concisely there. Solar System is not originally my own design, but that of one Clinton R. Nixon, a fine game designer from North Carolina. At one point Clinton expressed in an off-hand comment that he’d find it interesting if I made my own version of his popular fantasy roleplaying game The Shadow of Yesterday… and here we are. Solar System is Clinton’s name for the rules system in TSoY.The Shadow of Yesterday: Main Rulebook
a role-playing game of political and social horror In days long gone by, Maldor was an empire, stretching from ocean to mountain, uniting the people of the world under one rule. Bitch (verb) (Cream Alien Games)
Cream Alien Games was happy to premier the new micro game Bitch (verb) at Gen Con '09. The game is on a single page and comes with a hand made button. Each button says 1 of 4 phrases: Such a Bitch, Damn What a Bitch, Awesome Bitch and #1 Bitch. All thirty copies were sold to my happy delight.: Diaspora
You can now buy Diaspora in hardcover . Humanity as a star-faring race is tens of thousands of years old but societies have risen and fallen so many times that no one remembers where we come from. Worlds are grouped into small clusters of no more than a dozen or so systems, connected by slipstreams — artifacts of the universe or a forgotten technology — that connect systems. Slipstreams are unrelated to distance: a given cluster might be spread over galaxies or be within a single cubic light year.Simplifying Phoenix Command
Simplifying Command Last Updated Update: My fiance has gotten into painting miniatures (and she's better at it than I am), so I made up a game that's easier to digest.Wargamers have different preferences when it comes to the scale and scope of their game. Some prefer to play out whole wars on a large scale, with division or corps sized units. Others favor company or platoon size battles or skirmishes where figures or markers represent squads. Then there are the wargamers who wish to play out skirmishes on a scale of one to one, i.e. with one marker representing one man.
