Hamilton barred from Aspen restaurant after Armstrong argument (Build 20110413222027)
Retired pro Tyler Hamilton has been told he’s not welcome at an Aspen restaurant after a reported run-in with Lance Armstrong there on Saturday evening. Hamilton was in Aspen leading bike rides at an annual summit hosted by Outside. Hamilton mistakenly believed Armstrong to be out of town and went to the Cache Cache restaurant to eat. According to Outside Online, the Texan happened to be there and blocked Hamilton’s path when he exited the bathroom.

Well, it appears it is official, Lance Armstrong, the uncontested best Tour de France rider ever with 7 tour victories has announced his intention to return to the sport with the goal of competing in the 2009 Tour de France. According to Armstrong spokesman, Mark Higgins, Lance isn’t racing to “win second”. I know Lance and I don’t think he would race for second. Lance hates losing more than any person I have ever known.
