Canon PowerShot S100: Digital Photography Review. Add this product to your shortlist for comparison Gear list The Canon PowerShot S100 features a broader, 5x lens range (24-120mm equiv.), the company's latest image stabilization and built-in GPS. The interesting specification, from our perspective, is the homegrown 12MP CMOS sensor. The Canon S100 is particularly well-suited to two types of photographers: compact camera shooters looking to upgrade to a similarly small camera with more control, raw mode and better image quality, and ILC photographers looking for a truly compact 'take anywhere' pocket camera with much of the same manual control as their larger cameras. The addition of GPS and full HD video recording make the S100 feel more complete than the S95, which was a very capable camera but in some respects lagged slightly behind on its feature set when compared to the competition. Features. Canon PowerShot S90: Digital Photography Review. Add this product to your shortlist for comparison Gear list The S90 may not look much like the S80, S70 and all its earlier predecessors, but it has been conceived in much the same spirit; a smaller, more stylish alternative to the G series, offering key enthusiast features (such as raw capture and manual controls) in a compact body. And for the most part the S90 delivers on its promise; the image quality is surprisingly good, the user interface well thought out and the design truly pocket-friendly. The handling takes some getting used to, which I guess is inevitable given how much Canon has tried to cram into a camera the size of an Ixus/Elph.

The tiny body might not make for particularly good handling, but it's small enough to carry anywhere and the image quality it produces rarely disappoints. See full specifications The S90 offers an appealing combination of compact styling, photographic functionality and powerful control. Read the full review Build quality Ergonomics & handling Features. Canon PowerShot S95: Digital Photography Review. Add this product to your shortlist for comparison Gear list The 10 million-pixel Canon Powershot S95 replaces the S90, which was released in 2009. In complete contrast to the larger boxy G-series, the Powershot S95 retains the S90's svelte, truly pocketable body design that has a lot more in common with the Ixus/Elph cameras. Inside its compact bodyshell, Canon has managed to squeeze a 28-105mm (equivalent) zoom lens, and a bright, high-resolution LCD screen.

The S95 features an impressive ISO span for its class, from ISO 80-3200 at full resolution, with both RAW and JPEG recording options. Group review, Nov 23, 2010 See full specifications The S95 is a subtle upgrade to its predecessor, but the improvements are worthwhile - refined ergonomics, a higher-resolution video mode and added customizability all make the S95 more appealing than the S90. Good for: Taking everywhere - the snapshot-friendly body is small enough to fit inside a shirt pocket, but with no penalty in image quality. Optics. Canon PowerShot S110: Digital Photography Review.
