Candy, custom cookies, and wine stoppers are popular choices for wedding favors, but it’s always fun to break away from tradition. Spice it up with alcohol-infused wedding favors for your 21 and over guests so that they can continue the party after the reception ends. These mini bottles and liquor-filled chocolates will give your friends and family a treat with a kick. What do you think?
I often get asked about party planning tips, and sometimes the advice varies based on the type of event or subject of the article, but there are a few things that are applicable no matter what type of party you’re hosting , and that’s the topic of today’s post over at Simply Stated : My 5 Favorite Party Planning Tips . These 5 tips are the things I find myself telling friends & family over and over again – and most of them are geared towards making hosting a party easier and less stressful, even though I didn’t intentionally focus on that topic. I think this is because whenever I’m asked for tips from loved ones, there’s almost always a hint (or sometimes more than a hint) of stress in their voice, so I find myself wanting to help make the process easier – and, in turn more FUN – for them.
Over the years of Offbeat Bride we've seen some really unique guest books that step WAY outside the lines of empty book and pens left on a table. If you're looking for a way to personalize your wedding even more check out this guestbook alternatives round-up… Instruments as guestbooks
At Junebug we're big fans of a good wedding photo booth, so we were excited to see this cute chalkboard speech bubble featured in the Photojojo online store! You could supply one or two for your guests to play with in their photo booth pictures, or use them as a great addition to the Polaroids taken for your photo guest book. So fun!
Here’s how it works: We set up a little photo studio in your reception space. You and your guests will feel like celebrities in front of our modeling lights and umbrellas. We have many backdrops to choose from, or you can bring your own. After pressing a big red button, you’ll pose for three consecutive pictures and then see them emerge from our super fast dye-sub printer just moments later. Each photo is 4”x4” in size, evoking the feel of a Polaroid, a love of ours from days (nearly) gone by. The photos are for your guests to keep (or, ask them to take two from each series and leave one for you)!
