Dynamic Zone OCR: Find index data anywhere on the page with pattern matching

Zone OCR is a great way to automate the data entry associated with scanning documents. However, there are several limitations to TRADITIONAL zone OCR that must be overcome: Index information must be in the exact same place on every page Documents shift and skew during scanning, causing the zones to not line up If surrounding lines or text on the document are too close, they can encroach on the zone SimpleIndex® Dynamic OCR SimpleIndex overcomes these limitations by using Dynamic OCR technology to locate the desired text even when it moves around on the page.

Index information can appear anywhere on any page Unwanted characters are automatically ignored Find unique patterns of letters and numbers using Template Matching (Social Security #, Date, etc.) Dynamic OCR Examples In the video we see how SimpleIndex approaches a typical Zone OCR example. Organizing on a Budget – design finch. One of the things I miss about living in a big city are the abundant shopping options. Tulsa isn’t exactly the end of the Earth, but the choices here are much more limited than what I’d grown accustomed to while living in Austin. For instance, there is not a single Container Store in the entire state of Oklahoma – no one-stop-shop with aisle after aisle of clever products to solve every organizational challenge under the sun. What is an Okie to do?! Well, I’ve learned that with a little creativity and resourcefulness, you can give Container Store a run for its money.

There are plenty of simple storage solutions that can be made from recycled materials and other common household objects. New! Homeschool Weekly Subject Planner

I’m starting school this week, so I thought I would share my weekly subject planning form with you. For my youngest child (age 10), I sit down on Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon and fill in the assignments that need to be completed for each subject. She takes the form on Monday morning and checks each item as it is completed. At the end of the week I collect the charts, make sure the work was completed and place them in a folder (binder for high school students which includes tests and grade sheets for a college transcript later). If you would like a customized form (different colors, different subjects or different order of subjects), please email me at kimberlee (at) thepeacefulmom (dot) com. You May Also Enjoy:

Weekly Goal Planner

Click here to print the Blank TPM Weekly Goal Planner (write your own priority areas). One way that I live a purposeful life is to make a weekly goal/to do list in each of the areas of my life. Sometimes I miss a week, but I try to spend Sunday evening planning for the week ahead. I write my goals in the top portion of this form and then I choose my most important priority for the week and write it by the number 1 on the bottom of the form. I continue writing items in order of priority until I have a list of the top ten to twelve things I need to accomplish during the week. I don’t always get everything accomplished, but having the goals set for the week ensures that I get some of the most important items done and it helps me to drive my life, not be driven by it.
