其實我的著作幾乎都集中在中高層面，而極少為新手而寫。 我的出發點很簡單，寫給新手的書與文章多如過江之鯽、實在沒有插上一腳的必要，與其參與攪和不如另闢爐灶從比較少人問津的中高層次發展，這就是本blog幾乎沒有為新手而寫的文章的理由。 其次是尋找題材，這也不是件容易的事，因為寫給中高階玩家看的文字可以假設讀者具有相當的知識，但寫給生手的文字卻難以決定起跳點何在，不過這可以逐漸調適。 這一系列的第一篇是幾個「不要」。 不要太相信一次到位的論調 如果到各大論壇問要如何採購器材，遲早會有人建議一次到位，指的是一次就把頂級器材（譬如好機身加上什麼大三元之類的鏡頭等等）買齊，這通常是基於一個想法：可以在一段時期內不用換機，而且拍不好也不能怪機器不好。 換句話說，我們最好務實些，在剛開始學攝影時買我們買得起、而且也最常用的器材。 不要太相信論壇或網誌上的言論 這一點肯定有不少人反對。 如何得到正確的知識呢？ 建議您讀書、甚至讀好書的理由很簡單，書本給您一個有系統、按步就班循序漸進的知識系統，在沒有基本功的前提下，靠上網查詢或上論壇發問得到的是斷續甚至支離破碎的知識、也可能只是一大堆「若這樣、就如此這般」的口訣，這類無根的知識很難幫您解決新問題與迎接新挑戰。 不要養成Trigger-Happy的習慣 數位相機最大好處之一就是拍完了馬上看、失敗了立刻刪除，不費一分一毫，於是很多用數位相機的朋友很自然地會養成Trigger-Happy的習慣；換言之，看到一個景之後就不斷按快門，這邊拍拍、那邊拍拍，有點像用散彈槍打鳥，轟然一聲後希望幾十或幾百個子彈中有一個會命中目標。 坦白說，沒有思考的拍攝方式對了解攝影與磨練技術不會有多大幫助，當然若您只是拍得好玩又另當別論。 不要一味只追求DSLR 多年來觀察國內論壇與用戶的發言，我發現國人普遍有把DSLR的位階定得比DC高的傾向，至少本人就有若干次這樣的經驗。
