Check this out, Michael’s Nokia N8 has been modified for Astrophotography. the innards are taken out so it can take pictures of the stars! Michael says he was drawn to the N8 because of the size of its sensor. It’s fairly large (and larger than many dedicated digital cameras at the time of launch and still to this day). He notes that for a camera phone, ‘it’s really big!’ And so very sensitive to light. Great for planetary work apparently, and major plus due to the HDMI out. More info here: This is the moon. Xperia S details leak: 4.3-inch HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core, 12MP camera. Following on from the Xperia ion, the Sony Xperia S will be formally announced later today.
Full details of the handset were leaked prematurely and we have all of the details. The Xperia S is part of the new Xperia NXT series, this range denotes the company’s next generation products. One of the key features of this range is a new design called Identity Iconic. We are referring to the transparent notification strip at the bottom of the phone. Sony says that this element emphasises the display and also houses the antenna. In terms of specifications, the Sony Xperia S will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor (MSM8260 chipset) and 32GB of internal memory. Other features include a 1750mAh battery, HDMI and NFC. A new, CG cinematic trailer released today by Capcom shows the factions at war with one another. The trailer opens with US Spec Ops (Tweed, Dee-Ay, Harley, Willow, Shona and Party Girl) arriving in Raccoon City in the aftermath of a zombie invasion. A member of the team tries to take a sample from a still “living” zombie. The USS, meanwhile, has a member of their team also taking samples while the rest are in hot pursuit of a member of the Raccoon City Police Department for some reason. Spec Ops hears the gunfire and runs to the source, believing it to be civilians.
The RPD member is chased down again by the USS, who come face-to-face with the US Spec Ops team.
