Vintage Restyled. Antique Step Ladder Building Plans - Remodelaholic | Remodelaholic#more-20567#more-20567. Paint Me White: Pink Wardrobe. Do love this time of year when the days are beautiful and the nights are a little cooler. My collection of eiderdowns come out of hibernation and I love to display them on top of my furniture. I just finished painting this wardrobe in the most gorgeous shade of pink. The light wasn't the best this morning so this piece is actually darker than it appears. I don't often come across one with drawers on the top, very handy for bits and pieces.

Hanging on the left and shelving on the right. Old shabby stool I have painted in this gorgeous blue. Before. Girl In Pink: My First (of many!) Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Makeovers! Five days ago I received my first order of Annie Sloan paint and wax! I must say, all of the DIY bloggers gushing over Annie's products were not exaggerating! I am sold...completely sold! I have completed a lot of little projects in the last several days, but I first want to show you my favorite piece! I spotted this sweet little vanity on Craigslist a week ago Friday.

I started this vanity's makeover with a coat of Old White, followed by a coat of 3 parts Old White/1 part Duck Egg Blue. I am very pleased with how this piece turned out! I hope you're having a wonderful day! Town and Country Living: Skinny Armoire Makeover. French Grey. Paint Me White. . . . Cabin & Cottage. Faded Charm. Post Road Vintage. Twice Lovely. I thought Rosemary Sprig by Benjamin Moore was the be all end all color a few years back ... actually it is a lovely shade of mossy green ... after living with it for five years ... not so much. here are some photos from those bygone years ... and my most well read post in the history of my blogging ... fast forward to just last week when I got an email asking how my home was 'discovered' for the recent flurry of magazine coverage ... my 1000.00 kitchen makeover and that post called thrust this old farmhouse in to the photo shoot magazine-editor-frenzy that occured a year and a half after that blog post.

Little did I know that magazine scouts were reading my blog, let alone interested in a farmhouse with so many flaws one couldn't count them. it all started with removing said cupboard doors ... mr. savvyUSUALLY goes along with my zany ideas ... And how about that layered old wallpaper mess? Flea markets/barn sales/shop the shed.
