Ms Catrina Gray – Paediatric Dietitian & Nutritionist. Ms Sonja Neumann – Paediatric Dietitian. Sonja is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in infant and paediatric feeding.
She completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University (Adelaide) in 2002 and a 12-month Honours research project in 2003. Sonja has worked with children and their families in various settings including the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (Adelaide), Lively Eaters Feeding Services (Adelaide) and Ready Step Grow (Melbourne). Sonja is particularly interested in working with families through the challenges of limited diets, sensory processing difficulties, oral aversion, stressful meal times, tube feeding, transitioning from tube to oral feeding, growth concerns, developmental delay and disabilities affecting nutrition and feeding. She is passionate about normalising feeding for families who may have experienced a stressful, prescriptive approach to feeding. As a mother of three young children, Sonja is sympathetic to the everyday challenges faced by parents.
Ms Andrea Wright – Psychologist & Clinical Psychology Registrar. Andrea is a board registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who specialises in assessment and intervention for a range of presenting concerns affecting children, young people and their families.
Andrea completed undergraduate and honours degrees in psychology at La Trobe University, followed by a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at the University of Melbourne. As part of her post-graduate studies, Andrea completed research into how visual processing may contribute to the social communication deficits seen in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her master’s research, completed in collaboration with Orygen Youth Heath, investigated the subjective experience of neurocognitive impairments in young people experiencing psychosis.
Andrea strives to always maintain a client-centred approach in her practice and believes that comprehensive assessment that considers multiple sources of information is essential to planning effective therapy. Ms Lucy Simpson – Paediatric Speech Pathologist. Dr. Caroline South – Paediatric Dietitian & Nutritionist. Caroline is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who specialises in paediatric nutrition.
She currently works at the Royal Children’s Hospital as well as Offspring Health, Hawthorn. She has broad experience in infant and child nutrition with a special interest in food allergy and intolerance, including the gastrointestinal conditions; Eosinophilic Oesophagitis, Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) and allergic proctocolitis. She is an active member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology & Allergy (ASCIA) and in 2018 helped write and present the first certificate in medical nutrition therapy for the management of food allergy and intolerance.
She studied in Adelaide, completing a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics at Flinders University in 2010 and graduated with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) prize for academic excellence. Dr. Carly Veness – Paediatric Speech Pathologist. Carly is a paediatric speech pathologist with a special focus on infant and paediatric feeding difficulties.
She graduated from La Trobe University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology with Honours. Carly has had previous appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Northern Health, the Royal Women’s Hospital and Vision Australia, all of which developed her passion for working with babies and young children. Dr. Elizabeth Maher – General Practitioner & Infant Sleep Consultant. Dr. Paula Cuoco – General Paediatrician Australia. Paula is a general pediatrician who completed her medical degree from The University of Buenos Aires (U.B.A) in Argentina in 2008.
Soon after, she moved to Melbourne where she completed the Australian Medical Council requirements and gained full qualification as a medical practitioner in Australia. Prior to commencing her training to become a pediatrician she completed a Diploma in Child Health through The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Sydney. Paula completed her training as a General Paediatrician in Victoria and she is a Fellow at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She has worked in various health organizations within Victoria but spent most of her time at The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital. Paula has an interest in a wide range of pediatric issues affecting children from birth until 16 years of age.

She obtained her medical degree with honours at Monash University in 2003 and completed her specialist paediatric training through The Royal Children’s Hospital program. She gained her fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicans specialising in Paediatric and Child Health in 2011. Kayte has a wide range of interests and expertise. She looks after newborn babies in the special care nursery at Sandringham Hospital and as Adolescent Consultant at Monash Children’s Hospital cares for teenagers with eating disorders.
