I originally intended this to be a set of Polaroid textures, that was before I stumbled across a bunch of old public domain portraits that are freely available on the web. I thought: "these would work great as textures for layers in digital photos. " The only problem was: the photographs had people as the main subject, disrupting the awesome and rich textures of the film. So I simply removed the people in photoshop.
