Leather Fold Over Clutch. I’ve been eying leather fold over clutches in bright colors like these beauties below for some time now and thought they would make a really great DIY project.

Leather Fold Over Clutch

It’s a really simple project and a great way to add a punch of color to your spring outfit. Cause it is all. about. color this season. For these final product images, I teamed up with photographer Kate Skogen of JetKat Photo who specialized in weddings in the bay area. Check out her beautiful work here. Every workin' lady needs a fancy little briefcase covered in lace!

D.I.Y. Lace Briefcase

At least that's what I think. I picked this boring brown briefcase up at a thrift shop recently and couldn't wait to dress it up! Here's how I did it...1. Supplies Needed: Vintage briefcase, wood glue (I like using heavy duty glue), lace trim or ribbon (the non-ruffled kind that lays flat works best) and scissors. 2-4. This project is easy and fairly self-explainatory through the photos above.

Have fun feeling fancy with your pretty new briefcase! See me wearing this briefcase in an outfit post right here. DIY Transparent Clutch. Phil Oh spotted this elegant Charlotte Olympia Pandora clutch during Paris Fashion Week and we spotted a DIY.

DIY Transparent Clutch

Prada, Chanel & Fendi seem to be seeing clearly too because let’s face it, nothing says “I ain’t got shit to hide” like a transparent clutch. You’ll start by drilling a hole at the top of the plastic box. Use a drill bit that is one size larger than the diameter of the bolt on the knob, otherwise the plastic might crack. Open the lid and slowly drill a hole in the center of the box with very light pressure. Please wear protective eyewear and use caution! Push the knob through the hole of the box and replace the washer and nut. Voila! (top image by Phil Oh for Vogue.com, rest of images by Honestly…WTF) Leather Fold Over Clutch. Striped and Geometric Tote Bags

I know it may seem like I say this for every tutorial, but this one really does take just 5 minutes to make. With no stencil making involved. See the full instructions here on Momtastic to make yourself this perfect July 4th accessory. This next geometric tote does require a little cutting and ironing first.
