Two weeks ago the British Fashion Council brought a selection of young London designers to New York. Among them, my dear friends Mark Fast, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. For three “looooong” days they showed their Fall collections at the penthouse of the Soho Grand Hotel and met with New York press, editors and buyers. Opening Ceremony organized a sweet dinner for Pilotto at Café Gitane in the Jane Hotel on Wednesday night, and Emma Watson hosted a model-clad Vogue party at Pulino’s on Thursday night. When the obligatory handshaking and professional duties were over and dealt with, it was time for brunches, shopping and good old-fashioned Belgo-Brooklyn fun!

Saturday turned suddenly cold, after this heat wave in the UK, and I was stuck in traffic and rushing through the Oxford Street Saturday shopping circus, afraid I'd be late for my interview with Orla Kiely. When I arrived at Uniqlo I was greeted by posies. Pockets of posies at the entrance: sweet smiling spring flowers, like kisses. Then I rushed upstairs to meet her and her lovely team. Impressions of light, sparkling water, fresh strawberries and grapes.

Happy Easter guys! I love this story I did for Tank Magazine that’s out now, Aya Kanai did the styling and I got to choose some of my outfits. This magnificent dress is by Jason Wu and was incredibly fun to shoot. Jason Nocito was a cool photographer to work with, his way of shooting was very energetic and always moving. I was moving so much that day that I had small bruises all over. Totally worth it!
