Dollhouses: Miniature Furniture, Dollhouse Miniatures & Wooden Doll Houses! DIY Confetti Bowl. Last weekend I made this DIY project with the boys, it's really easy to make and I can assure that you're gonna have fun!

DIY Confetti Bowl

You'll need: confetti, one balloon, Mod Podge, a sponge and a small vase. Inflate your balloon, then insert it on to the vase so it's sturdier to work with. Add Mod Podge to the top half of the balloon with a sponge, then sprinkle confetti all over, you can remove your balloon from the vase and hold it to add the confetti on the sides. Let it dry and add another coat of glue and confetti, you will need to add several coats until you achieve a thick coat. Big Box Detox: DIY Grid Painting. Big Box Detox: DIY Grid Painting

When I found this super thin painter’s tape in our basement (left by the previous owner) I thought it would be perfect for a DIY art project and the grid painting was born! To complete this project here is what you need… To start, tape off your blank canvas in a grid. Next step: tape the other directions.

Happy Friday! Mini DIY Round-Up. Project 6: Canvas Art. You don’t have to know how to sew to work with fabrics.

Project 6: Canvas Art

I’m OK at sewing, but my machine is missing the pedal… Oops. Here’s a different way to use fabrics — no sewing involved! Like I said I few posts ago, I’ve gotten really into making what I like to call “canvas art.” Basically, I cover a piece of canvas in fabric or lace and add all sorts of embellishments to it. In this post, I’ll show you how to make a basic piece of canvas art with no embellishments. First off, you need some kick ass fabric. Anyway, I found this beautiful black, white and silver fabric a month or so ago at a local fabric store on the cheap, so I snatched it up not really sure what I’d do with it. The silver is actually metallic, too.

For this project, I’m using small canvases. Cut out your fabric so you can wrap it up and over the back edges of the canvas. Mon makes things: Storage Ottoman DIY. How to Make Rainbow Melted Crayon Art. Welcome to 52 Kitchen Adventures, your source for creative & delicious desserts!

"I have everything," she says always. Ok, we will not buy a present, we will make it! My mom has a beautiful garden in Russia. She grows everything there: potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, apples, strawberries, black and red currants, gooseberries... and it's not all. Green Wedding Shoes. If you loved the beautiful DIY wedding this morning and Nata’s gorgeous paper flower bouquets, you are in luck as Nata is sharing how she crafted them with us!

Green Wedding Shoes

She was inspired by a template created by Morgan Levine on Martha Stewart (as was I in the flowers I created for this styled shoot). I just love that this basic idea has inspired different brides to create their own version of giant paper flowers – you might remember these equally awesome giant paper flowers from this wedding I shared last year. :) Thanks so much Nata for sharing how you created your giant pink paper rose + special thanks to Studio Castillero for the photos of the DIY + her wedding! Building a Dollhouse: Kit Introduction

Not only the dollhouse kits but also a wide variety of miniatures to furnish your dollhouse. This is my first post of many on how to build a dollhouse from a kit. I will be assembling and finishing the Victoria Farmhouse. The farmhouse has eight HUGE rooms, unique side-opening access, movable room dividers and a fabulous wrap-around porch. The key to building a dollhouse is to plan ahead.

First, dedicate a workspace for building your dollhouse. Next, read through the instruction manual. After you have read through the entire instruction manual begin to label the pieces with sticky notes. The dollhouse kits come with all the materials you will need to build your dollhouse, however, you will need some extra supplies and tools on hand to help you along the way.
