Prague-based photographer Martin Stranka transports us to a tranquil state of being. The self-taught professional uses his innovative photographer's eye to capture dreamy visuals that are rich with intrigue. Though I want to know more about the different people in these varied locations, I'm content with getting lost in the moment. Looking through Stranka's portfolio makes me feel as though I'm being whisked away into a serene escape in slow motion. His ability to capture that euphoric, carefree moment between sleeping and awakening is exceptionally effective. It's like those beautiful Sunday mornings when you're waking up, cozy in bed, knowing you don't even have to get up.

Whether it’s a boat being rowed into a monstrous koi fish in the middle of a couple’s path, or three levitated women hovering over the head of an adolescent boy, these Jeremy Enecio paintings engage viewers through their provocative dreamlike qualities and their meticulous artistic execution. Though not as fantastical as some of his other pieces, the illustration entitled ‘Joanna Silvestri’ definitely stands out with its depiction of a sultry blonde woman and man sharing a private moment in bed.

Polish artist Przemek Blejzyk renders hip hop character covers for ADHA auditions. The artist took inspiration from urban life and culture, fusing it with a chill, old school style. The characters evoke an effortlessly cool vibe, appealing to the more gangster side of viewers. The ADHA auditions are based online for Polish hip hop group AFRONT Squad. Each cover is made to match the edgy style of auditioning artists. After listening to each musician, it is evident that Blejzyk has a gift for character interpretation.For 16 days straight, from dawn to dusk, five highly determined Montreal-based artists (who make up the artist run collective A'shop ) worked on a graffiti mural of a Mother Nature-esque Madonna or a modern-day version of "Our Lady of Grace." I couldn’t help but direct everyone to fellow public art loving blog Street Art Utopia as they have compiled a pretty decent list of the best street art of 2011. If you are just getting into the wonderful world of pasting, spraying or making the streets a more creative place, this list is a great place to start (short of Wall and Piece ). One of the best things about this genre is it’s diversity – you can decided what you find gimmicky/twee or meaningful and awe-inspiring. Street art has always been the public’s voice, and the art world has yielded success to those with great ideas and a call for change.
