Stonk Knots - Knotted craftwork and rope designs created as projects and commissioned orders. The images below link to a collection of ideas and projects, many of which were produced as commissioned work. They include a variety of especially sourced materials and particular solutions. Included in our Stonk Knots Gallery is a selection of intricately knotted ship's bell pulls, a hammock traditionally netted by hand using cotton seine twine, and designed with a cradle centre to prevent capsize, a giant rope spider web climbing frame, bespoke knotboards, custom made rope dog leads and toys, a round rope swing, a rope ladder, curtain tie backs and an array of decorated netted coloured glass floats. Some of these items have been moved from the regular products section because the rope required for them is no longer available; it has become more and more difficult to find high quality natural fibre rope and cordage consistently in what is a minority market for the rope manufacturers.

Without special paper, without special backing, without soaking your fabric in special solution. Here's what I did and what you need to know to..... Before we get started, four things.... First off, this is important, the fabric I used to print on without any backing was like a heavy weight WHITE canvas (not exactly canvas but something like it.

Thirdly, you can print on lighter weight fabrics but you'll have to iron on freezer paper to the back or use something to stabilize it. Fourthly, I recently bought a brand new wide format printer recently, Epson Work Force 7520. I'm going to start by showing you how I printed the fabric on these curtains. Then, I cut a piece of white heavy weight fabric 12.5"x44". That's it! Some tips.... You might have to play around with the color to get a saturated enough look.
