Two days to create a masterpiece. That’s what teams of dedicated youth were tasked with as part of a competition called the Wolverine Soft 48-Hour Game Design Contest put on by none other than Brian Meier, son of the legendary strategy game designer Sid Meier. The contest took place at the University of Michigan, Sid Meier’s alma mater. In the well produced documentary, Sid Meier himself also takes part in the competition (although his game isn’t actually an official entry) and you get to bring your eyeballs into the process of what it takes to create a game . . . on a VERY limited timespan.
