Archi design. +31ARCHITECTS. Flottante et immergée : la maison sur l'eau. Spécialiste en habitations flottantes, le groupe nééralandais +31 Architects a conçu fin 2010 un "houseboat" attrayant et destiné à occuper la rivière Amstel.
Le houseboat est baptisé Watervilla de Omval. Sa particularité : il possède une partie immergée et une partie émergée. Watervilla de Omval est une maison flottante au décor contemporain et luxueux. Dans la partie émergée, on trouve le salon, la cuisine et les pièces qui ne nécessitent aucune intimité. Comme les parois de la maison flottante sont en verre transparents, chacune des pièces donne sur l’eau et s’ouvre vers le ciel. Sky Garden House.
I think one of the reasons that many are skeptical about environmental design is because they think its terribly complex and costly.
It does take a bit more effort on the front end, but it's definitely not rocket science. This architecture by Guz Architects is a wonderfully developed minimalistic design with a curvilinear flare that really brings out the organic coverings. I'm most impressed with how design facilitates the needs of the plants and shrubs located throughout the house.
