The rain is falling in Los Angles. Today I woke up again in my hotel room and for the first time it dawned on me. I have been away from home for almost 11 months.

SoKo received world fame after releasing her “I’ll Kill Her” song. It was featured in a 2007 Stella McCartney fashion show, played by radio DJ’s from all over the world and even managed to chart in several countries, without a “real” CD release. SoKo really is a modern day musician, gaining fame from the internet and playing sold-out concerts without any promotion. His acts include British electronic pop/rock band Zoot Woman (with Adam Blake and Johnny Blake ), Les Rythmes Digitales , Paper Faces , Man With Guitar , Thin White Duke , and the parodic French moniker Jacques Lu Cont , though he actually grew up in Reading , England. Upcoming shows including new UK tour dates We’re super excited to announce the details of our second album, ‘The Temper Trap’. The new album was recorded at the famed Sound Factory in Los Angeles, with producer Tony Hoffer, who’s worked with the likes of Beck, M83 & Phoenix. It’s our first album as a five-piece, after we recently welcomed Joseph Greer (keyboard/guitar) to the fold as a permanent member. ‘The Temper Trap’ features 12 new songs, and will be out on May 18 in Australia/NZ on Liberation & Germany on Infectious/PIAS, May 21 in the UK/Europe on Infectious/PIAS and June 5 in the US on Glassnote/Columbia, Canada on Glassnote/Universal.
