Taliesin ( / ˌ t æ l i ˈ ɛ s ɨ n / ), near Spring Green , Wisconsin , was the summer home of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright . Wright began the building in 1911 after leaving his first wife, Catherine Tobin, and his Oak Park, Illinois , home and studio in 1909. The impetus behind Wright's departure was his affair with Mamah Borthwick Cheney , who had been his client, along with her husband, Edwin Cheney .
Fallingwater or Kaufmann Residence is a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935 in rural southwestern Pennsylvania , 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh . The home was built partly over a waterfall on Bear Run in the Mill Run section of Stewart Township , Fayette County, Pennsylvania , in the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains . Hailed by Time shortly after its completion as Wright's "most beautiful job", [ 3 ] it is listed among Smithsonian ' s Life List of 28 places "to visit before you die." [ 4 ] It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966. [ 2 ] In 1991, members of the American Institute of Architects named the house the "best all-time work of American architecture" and in 2007, it was ranked twenty-ninth on the list of America's Favorite Architecture according to the AIA .

Child of the Sun is the title for a group of buildings designed for the campus of the Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida , USA , by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright from 1941 through 1958. The buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places , and together form one of the largest collections of buildings by the architect. It was designated a National Historic Landmark on March 2, 2012. [ 2 ] Opened in 1992, the "Child of the Sun" Visitor Center displays photographs, furniture, and drawings depicting Wright's relationship with Florida Southern College . The Center also displays changing exhibits on loan from other sites associated with Frank Lloyd Wright. The Center is located in the Thad Buckner Building in the William M.
