Unless you are already heavily invested into a certain race or weapon system, it might be a good idea to think of which logistics ship, strategic cruiser or pirate faction battleship you'll want in the end, rather than what your first incursion ship should be. You should also consider secondary value of whatever you train, perhaps you can find an end-of-the-line ship that not only furthers your goals for incursions but other goals as well given the skills you'll end up training for it. If you already know that you like smaller ships, or have plans for diving into a wormhole in the future, it would make much more sense training into a strategic cruiser than a pirate faction battleship. See ship progression in Incursions for more information. The following skills are the minimum skills needed to use the fits we use for incursions.

Planetary Interaction. Planetary interaction was introduced in May 2010 with the Tyrannis expansion Planetary Interaction (PI) allows pilots to create industrial colonies on just about any planet in the EVE universe. The aim of this is producing NPC Trade Goods from processing Raw Materials extracted from the planet in a method similar to that of manufacturing goods in Starbases.

Planetary Interaction can produce a range of commodities. Some commodities can be used immediately, such as Oxygen for POS fuel, while others can be used in blueprints to create POS_Structures and T2 components[1]. Introduction To engage in Planetary Interaction, Pilots need to purchase the correct Command Center for their chosen planet from the market, there are eight types of Command Centre one to match each type of planet. Once these raw materials have been collected, they can be processed on-planet into basic or advanced goods for greater profit, taken off planet for processing in a planet dedicated to manufacturing, or sold.

The Player Experience This is an individual project - being a member in a player corporation is not required (technically speaking, neither are the skills). Skills If you want your undertaking to be successful, some skill will definitely help, although they're not a prerequisite to your colonialisation plans.

Another important skill is Planetology, which enables the player to scan for deposits on a planet and make use of the readout from the scanning. Top Contributors For This Page.
