Turbidity Curtains, sometimes called silt curtains, silt screens, turbidity barriers or silt barriers are floating barriers used in marine construction, dredging projects and similar applications to contain the dispersion of silt and sediment that is suspended during these commercial activities.
Turbidity curtains are deployed to keep the project in compliance, to protect the environment, and aid in the proper operation of pumps and other equipment. Neptune Flotation’s Turbidity Curtains support compliance with the Clean Water Act and any state or local Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Silt Curtains can be deployed in layers, where multiple silt curtains are deployed in parallel to increase the effectiveness of controlling the silt or runoff. Neptune Flotation offers a variety of fabric weights and skirt depths depending on project needs.

Our containment booms are known for their quality, durability and availability. Neptune Flotation makes several different types of oil containment boom depending on the application and conditions. We use top quality materials featuring encapsulated closed-cell foam flotation, galvanized chain ballast, stainless steel top tension cables (where applicable) and industry standard ASTM aluminum end connectors.

Spar Buoy, is designed to withstand the most rugged marine conditions. Rotationally molded with UV- resistant polyethylene (PE), these regulatory buoys are crack resistant and tough. The Regulatory Buoys come in bright- orange and are easy to see over white wave caps, removing the need for safety flags. Buoys can be custom made in any color. An optional programmable solar light attaches with security screws to eliminate theft and functions— even in low- light environments.

Neptune Hose Floats & Cable Floats are manufactured to last with an impact-resistant polyethylene plastic (HDPE) and solid rotationally-molded one-piece construction. Neptune™ Flotation Pipe Floats & Float Balls are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship, so long as such products are not subjected to misuse or improper handling.
This warranty will extend for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery. All Neptune™ Flotation Pipe Floats & Float Balls deemed by Neptune™ Flotation, LLC to be defective will be replaced at no cost to the customer, provided the unsatisfactory Pipe Floats & Float Balls are returned to Neptune™ Flotation. THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NEPTUNE™ FLOTATIONS LIABILITY FOR BREACH OF THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OF THE UNSATISFACTORY PRODUCTS. Ocean Cleanup Neptune. INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – 09-05-2018 (PRDistribution.com) — Neptune Flotation announced today that their floats will be deployed by Dutch-based The Ocean Cleanup as part of the group’s highly engineered floating system which will target cleanup of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
