The Sagrada Familia is a Catholic Basilica consecrated by the Pope in 2010. There are magnificient views from the top. At the museum you can see models, photographs and plans as well as model-makers themselves at work, restoring and reproducing from Gaudi's originals. When the church is finished it will have 18 towers: 12 dedicated to the apostles, 4 to the evangelists, 1 to Jesus and another to Mary. Open: 9am-6pm Oct to Mar; 9am-8pm Apr to Sep. Montjuïc Castle. CosmoCaixa offers regular workshops for children throughout the year such as Toc Toc, where kids get the chance to touch different creatures, Clik, an interactive exhibit of touch, smell and discovery for ages 3 to 6 years and Flash, a scientific interactive activity for kids aged 7 to 9 years. Inside the museum there is a geoglogical wall made from 90 tons of rock and the rain forest has its own alligators, snakes and birds. The famous Picasso museum is a good option for visiting with kids with colourful exhibits appealing to children.

The museum has a large permanent exhibition including Picasso's childhood sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs and featuring a biography of the artist.
