Hi, I'm a freelance illustrator living in Mayenne, France. I studied painting at Cardiff School of Art before moving to France where I studied design and discovered a passion for Tintin books, which combined with a love of acoustic music, inspire my illustration work. An installation of over 5000 paper insects, cut from the pages of Vice magazine. Each insect was machine cut, individually folded, and then installed throughout Cube Gallery for the 2009 'Futuresonic' festival. The main swarm was over 5 metres long and ran alongside the ramp and main stairwell, with smaller clutches of insects hidden in nooks and crannies throughout the entire gallery. To complement the exhibition, individual insects were made from the previous year's festival programmes. These were then housed in matchboxes, signed, numbered, and placed in welcome packs to be received by the festival's conference goers.
