Watch: This 3-D Software Is Adobe Illustrator on Acid | Wired Design. In the video below you’ll see a dancer who appears to be stuck in a white, netted cage. As she gracefully swings her elbow to the left, the cage suddenly bulges out, as though it was instantaneously inflated by her movement. A gentle turn of the knee produces a similar ballooning effect. Soon the dancer is on the floor, lifting up the corner of the light cage, as though she’s peeking into the street from behind a curtain. It’s a surreal moment, but it’s hard to know why exactly. The netting you’re looking at appears to be real—it's three-dimensionality and response to human motion totally believable. But it’s actually made from projected light. This is the handiwork of Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne, two Lyon, France-based artist/technologists who are very good at blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.

Described simply, eMotion is a physics-based animation system that uses human motion to interact with projected graphics in real time. Content. Fonts. 91 of the Best Twitter Accounts for Designers to Follow. Flat UI: A delightful alternative to Bootstrap’s default look, sans gradients and drop shadows. Bootstrap, the popular front-end framework which hailed from Twitter, continues to grow as a quick way for developers to get an attractive site up and running in little time. It’s a great starting point, but Bootstrap is often left completely un-customized, and its popularity has left the framework’s distinct design looking default and monotonous. To bring some variety to this space, Designmodo, the team behind Dribbbleboard and this slick IMDB concept, is launching Flat UI, a free HTML user interface kit based on Bootstrap. The kit packs PSD files of buttons, inputs, selects, checkboxes, tags, menus, progress bars, sliders and navigation elements, as well as color swatches and SVG glyphs. A quick trip to the project’s demo site shows how beautiful the kit really is. The kit is free, but a pro version is launching at the end of the month with additional elements (39$ for a Personal License and 149$ for a Developer License).

Advertisement Everyone is always looking for interesting and effective ways to organize their website and allow users to move about and find things. Here are some examples for your reading pleasure. It’s time for little inspiration and this time I wanted to showcase something different. You may know that very popular designer slogan – “More is Less”, and yes it’s often so true – unexperienced people tend to overcrowd, use too much colors in their designs.
