Aftonbladet släpper Egypten-magasin. I samband med demonstrationerna i Egypten släpper Aftonbladet ett "exklusivt nyhetsmagasin" på 64 sidor. Det är editionschefen Håkan Andreasson som lanserade idén till magasinet. Arbetet drog igång i måndags och släpps imorgon. Tanken är att berätta om bakgrunden till revolten och samtidigt sprida mer kunskap om Egypten. – Den här tidningen ger alla människor en unik möjlighet att förstå den världshistoria som nu skrivs, säger Aftonbladets chefredaktör Jan Helin i ett pressmeddelande. En stor del av innehållet ska utgöras av ett fotoreportage, men magasinet kommer också innehålla analyser av Peter Kadhammar och Wolfgang Hansson och intervjuer med egyptier.
I magasinet ska Aftonbladets reporter Karin Östman dessutom berätta om timmarna i Kairo, där rollen som journalist gjorde henne till en "levande måltavla". – Tidningen är resultatet av ett otroligt teamwork från Aftonbladets medarbetare som jag är mycket stolt över.
