Finance is also key to our long-term growth strategy – which is why our Finance Graduate scheme aims to nurture finance professionals with the commercial and technical abilities to not only help us achieve this growth but manage a business twice its current size. From the start you’ll be given live projects on real time business issues. These will help you develop your technical and analytical skills, build your understanding of our business and start your leadership journey in the Partnership. You’ll be based in our Head Office in Victoria, London. It’s an intensive two-year journey that will nurture your creativity and stretch your capabilities. From placements and projects to away days, master classes, courses and on-the-job training, you’ll develop and grow through a wealth of different experiences. Changing your style. That’s where our commercially-focused Merchandisers come in. In a nutshell, it’s their challenge to manage stock in order to hit financial targets such as sales, profit and stock in turn. John Lewis is one of the few retailers making significant investment in new merchandising systems. So if your ambition is to be a leading-edge Merchandiser, this is the place to launch your career. You’ll be based in our Head Office in Victoria, London. The first step on your journey will be an entry-level position in our highly-respected Merchandising team, where from day one you’ll be managing over £250,000 of stock a week as a Merchandising Assistant.
