WHAT WE BELIEVE. We believe… · That the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Tim. 3:16); and it is a book like no other.

It reveals our salvation as a precious gift of grace through the sacrifice of Christ (Rom. 3:21-26). We hold no other creed or authority outside the Bible. · That Christ is the only hope of Salvation (John 14:6). He has all authority and deserves our recognition as Lord and Savior (Matt. 23:18-20). · The church is the body of Christ (Col. 1:18) . · Salvation is by the grace of God, which produces faith in Jesus Christ that results in repentance, confession and baptism for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38, Rom. 6:3-4, Gal. 3:27). · That the church is led by elders (I Tim. 3:1-7), served by deacons (I Tim. 3:8-12) and emphasizes ministry involvement of all believers. SOUND DOCTRINE. Read Titus 2:1-9.

At times we think that sound doctrine is a specific theology or doctrine about the church. However, Paul’s definition of sound doctrine refers to how we live in the world; it’s not how you do church. How we do church does not attract those who live in the world. Did you know that we are one of the few churches on the planet that are Acapella? People may like us, and that’s okay. I love to sing and other things. Read Titus 2:11-14 I wish I could say that the world around us was eager to do what is good. But you and I should give ourselves to doing good by practicing the sound doctrine Paul is talking about. Paul mentions some things you can do to live in this life, including not giving in to ungodliness; don’t chase after the worldly passions. People should remember to follow authority, to be obedient, to be ready to do what is good, to slander no more, to be peaceful and considerate, and to always be gentle towards everyone.

What Will Heaven be Like

Heaven, What will heaven be like. WHAT IT MEANS TO BE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD. Read Genesis 1:26-27 God created birds, fish, and other animals but not in His image.

Then He created man in His own image, which means man is special. While we were created to be like Him, we were not created to be Him. Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image. Genesis 1:26-27 We often confuse being made in God’s image with being actual gods ourselves. When we act like our own god, we forget that we were made for a purpose. You need to know that whatever God gives, He can take away. Read Romans 12:5-8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. Romans 12:5-8 God has made every individual for a unique and special purpose. Read Matthew 25:26-27 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! Matthew 25:26-27.
