Collingwood Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. Staff: I haven't had a single issue with the staff. They have all been courteous, helpful, and everything you could want with housing staff. They had to push back my move-in date a couple days (which wasn't surprising, since the previous tenants had moved out less than 4 days before), and they gave me all sorts of discounts I wasn't expecting. Quality: The apartment is large, clean, and bright. It's not super luxurious, but given its age and price point compared to other well-rated apartments, I am more than pleased with the quality. All appliances are in good working order (though some are starting to show their age), water pressure is good. Some complaints I would have is no built in lighting in the living room, which will make the place dark if you don't invest in lamps quickly, and I've had issues with my shower not draining well.

Ascent at Windward Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. The neighborhood and area are very safe, and the complex has a lot of families. If you're looking for a place to raise your family, this is probably a good choice. (But if you're like me with no kids, you might find the area a little boring!) Sometimes the kids might get a little loud in the afternoon or summer time, but for the most part the neighborhood is very quiet and relaxed. There are also lots of dog owners, which can be good or bad depending on your point of view. Waterstone at Big Creek Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. Deerfield Village Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. I was based out of Atlanta for a 6mos fellowship program and initially made it clear in writing I would be in the Atlanta area for no more that six months to this complex. I can say living at Orion has made my training more stressful. Upon moving in I noticed that the Ipod docking station does not work entirely, only the radio works.

In addition to not working it was stained with sauce. The carpets were not vacuumed; I have short blonde hair and no animals, no roommates and I found a ton of long black hair throughout my carpets in the main room and my bedroom. The space between the stove and the counter is full of crumbs of who knows what and how long they have been there. The faucets and washer settings are backwards (the cold and hot water). AMLI at Northwinds Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. IMT Deerfield Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. The Stoneleigh at Deerfield Rentals - Alpharetta, GA. The Crossings at Holcomb Bridge Rentals - Roswell, GA. I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I have been living here only 6 months and regret the decision.

They have so many rodents such as roaches, rats, snakes and frogs. The first day I moved in we saw our first roach, then another one, and another one. Come to find out it wasn't just our apartment but everyones. Our neighbor came to us outside one day and told us his experience with the roaches. How to Refinish an Engineered Hardwood Floor | The Money Pit. LESLIE: Now we’ve got Lavonne in Iowa on the line with a floor-refinishing question. How can we help you today? LAVONNE: Yes. I have 1,350 square feet of engineered hardwood floor. It has been refinished twice and you know what? It’s looking pretty tough. And I want to refinish it again and I’ve thought about doing a gel with a lacquer over the top of it but I’m afraid if I sand it any more, I’m going to be into the plywood. TOM: You know, it’s very unusual that you’ve been able to refinish it once. One thing I can suggest, Lavonne, is this. LAVONNE: You know what? TOM: Right. LAVONNE: And then there’s scratches, of course.

TOM: OK. LAVONNE: Right. TOM: And that might be enough for you to get a new finish to take. LAVONNE: I know and you know what? TOM: But that said, I don’t understand why somebody wants to charge you so much to take out what’s there. LAVONNE: You know what? TOM: In most cases, you would not glue down engineered floor; it would float. LAVONNE: Alright.
