So many things!
{red and chocolate brown via } I’m always looking for ways to add unexpected pops of color into our apartment. Yesterday, Anel and I painted a huge slab of wood in glossy bright yellow paint to create a new shelf/counter in our tiny Manhattan kitchen. We had some leftover paint so I asked him to paint my closet door the same color. Let’s hope I don’t hate it- I’ll know in about 8 hours when I get home from work tonight!
It’s always been my dream to live in a home with airy, open rooms and lots of exposed bricks, so when this renovation project from Amy came across my desk, I was instantly smitten. Located in Atlanta, this building is about 100 years old and originally served as a trolley depot. Thankfully, Amy and her husband did a wonderful job preserving many of the original details while adding some modern touches that complement the overall aesthetic beautifully.
what a makeover! this made me feel 'myownapartamentsick' even more than ever :) bulb-lamp is great, i also made something like that, but there were less bulbs so the effect wasn't that stunning. love the shower, look really great, also the brick wall and, what surprised me, that green tone in the bedroom. you had great ideas and you fortunately put them into effect.
