Mean Green Juice Recipes | My Juice Cleanse. I’m on Day 17 of my Juice Reboot! I watched Joe Cross’s film “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” and I was inspired. After two back surgeries, may procedures, and severe chronic pain, I’ve ballooned up in weight. I’ve tried every diet but my metabolism seems out of sync with all the cortisone injections and medicines. So far, I’ve only lost 10 pounds but I’ve lost 2 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my hips and my pants are hanging more loosely.

Of course, I should have gone to my doctor already but I plan to do so next week. I plan to stay on it for 60 days to lose 50 pounds. For you ladies, I’ve also noticed that the pores on my nose have shrunk a bit. Good luck to you all and happy juicing! So when I heard about this documentary, “Fat Sick and Nearly Dead“, I was intrigued.

Juicing. Cross drank juice for 60 days to get his health back, and this film chronicles his journey across 3000 miles to do just that. From “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”; 100 pounds overweight, loaded up on steroids and suffering from a debilitating autoimmune disease, Joe Cross is at the end of his rope and the end of his hope.
