Yesterday saw me creating the first of five window frames that gets installed in the triangular space between the two hub 1s, on the third tier of the dome. The cutting of the wood was rather tricky, but I managed to do a half-decent job. The window opening was measured and each side was 700mm.

Now maths teaches us that triangles of equal length are called equilateral triangles, and all the internal angles are the same. So each corner must be 60 degrees. My daughter and I fed left-over planks through the table saw, and cut strips of 15mm x 32mm x 1m. From there we measured out three planks and marked off the 700mm mark and once again it was back to the table saw, to cut a 60 degree angle, but at a 8 degree camber. Once the lengths were cut, they lined up neatly. Breaking out the mitre saw, I cut a 2.5cm piece of the 15mm x 32mm x 1m wood with a 12 degree angle and a 12 degree camber on both ends.

Whether you practice yoga with or without your partner, the ancient teachings of yoga can greatly support and help sustain a healthy, positive and dynamic intimate relationship. Thousands of years ago Patanjali created The Eight Limbs of Yoga, from which we can utilize the first limb, or the Yamas, to help guide us toward the highest experience of intimate relationship. The Yamas encompass ethics and integrity in how we practice yoga both on and off the mat. 1. Non-harming The opposite of non-harming is the energy of compassion. 2. Truth leads to a deep quality of strength and integrity within a relationship. 3.

Given today’s hectic lifestyles, your quality time together is more precious than ever. 4. Continence, or celibacy, in ancient times was applicable to yogis and monks who completely stepped away from worldly pursuits. 5. Everyone needs space. He world is slowly waking up to the fact that, when you give the body what it needs, it can heal things we previously thought were impossible. A fine example of what is often deemed as an incurable health problem is dental cavities, but extensive research is now becoming more public about the true nature of tooth decay and the fact that there are proven remedies that can remedy it.

The lies perpetrated about tooth decay According to the American Dental Association, the reason we have tooth decay is as follows: “[Tooth decay] occurs when foods containing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) such as milk, pop, raisins, cakes or candy are frequently left on the teeth. Bacteria that live in the mouth thrive on these foods, producing acids as a result. There are a few problems with this theory, including: Groups of indigenous people who had fermentable carbohydrates stuck on their teeth all the time that did not brush or floss were mostly or completely free of tooth decay. Foods to focus on are: How to Heal Cavities Naturally. The World of Hidden Emotions. Machine Elf 1735 (CC) Emotions are important, but there is the massive confusion in both popular and scientific conceptions of even what they are.

There is also a sizable structure of erroneous assumptions, such as venting anger “gets it off your chest.” There seem to be at least four defenses against confronting emotions directly: 1. Ignore. 2. Generalize (using only abstract terms: emotions, affect, arousal, etc.). 3. 4. The elaborate hiding of shame studies by the use of alternative words is described in detail.

Understanding the realm of emotions is beset by an elemental difficulty: the meaning of words that refer to emotion are so ambiguous that we hardly know what we are talking about. This state of affairs can be viewed in any standard dictionary. Earth closest to sun for the year on January 4, 2014 | Tonight. Our planet Earth reaches perihelion – its closest point to the sun for the year – on January 4, 2014. The word “perihelion” is from the Greek words peri meaning near, and helios meaning sun. Earth is closest to the sun every year in early January, when it’s winter for the Northern Hemisphere. We’re farthest away from the sun in early July, during our Northern Hemisphere summer.

So you can see that Earth’s distance from the sun isn’t what causes the seasons. On Earth, it’s mostly the tilt of our world’s axis that creates winter and summer. In winter, your part of Earth is tilted away from the sun. Are the December solstice and January perihelion related? Earth is about 5 million kilometers – or 3 million miles – closer to the sun in early January than it will be in early July. Image Credit: Dna-webmaster Though not responsible for the seasons, Earth’s closest and farthest points to the sun do affect seasonal lengths.

Latest sunrises also in early January for mid-northern latitudes. Learn how to use any of the Adobe apps from expert instructors at lynda.com. 3 Ways to Be Articulate. “Following World War II, the U.S. dollar was adopted as the world's reserve currency against the wishes of the pre-eminent economist John Maynard Keynes," Joel Benjamin tells me, "cementing the economic and political power of the U.S. Federal Reserve. " Benjamin works as the local authority manager for the U.K. campaign Move Your Money and is investigating how much public money authorities lost in the financial crisis.

Founded in early 2012, Move Your Money — which has parallel groups like this oneoperating in the U.S. — has helped over 2 million people in the U.K. transfer their finances from unethical too-big-to-fail banks to smaller, safer institutions. The Federal Reserve holds a significant responsibility for the 2008 global crash, Benjamin explains. In particular, Alan Greenspan's ultra-low interest rate policies — known as the "Greenspan put" — encouraged the housing and stock market bubbles to dangerously inflate throughout the early 2000s. Scientists discover double meaning in genetic code. Scientists have discovered a second code hiding within DNA. This second code contains information that changes how scientists read the instructions contained in DNA and interpret mutations to make sense of health and disease.

High resolutionClick to expand Genome scientist Dr. John Stamatoyannopoulos led a team that discovered a second code hidden in DNA. A research team led by Dr. John Stamatoyannopoulos, University of Washington associate professor of genome sciences and of medicine, made the discovery. The findings are reported in the Dec. 13 issue of Science. Read the research paper.

The work is part of the Encyclopedia of DNA Elements Project, also known as ENCODE. Since the genetic code was deciphered in the 1960s, scientists have assumed that it was used exclusively to write information about proteins. “For over 40 years we have assumed that DNA changes affecting the genetic code solely impact how proteins are made,” said Stamatoyannopoulos. Stephanie H. Major biological discovery…inside the Chernobyl reactor?? | Doug's Darkworld. The abandoned town of Pripyat, the Chernobyl reactor in the background. There has been an exciting new biological discovery inside the tomb of the Chernobyl reactor. Like out of some B-grade sci fi movie, a robot sent into the reactor discovered a thick coat of black slime growing on the walls. Since it is highly radioactive in there, scientists didn’t expect to find anything living, let alone thriving. The robot was instructed to obtain samples of the slime, which it did, and upon examination…the slime was even more amazing than was thought at first glance.

This slime, a collection of several fungi actually, was more than just surviving in a radioactive environment, it was actually using gamma radiation as a food source. Samples of these fungi grew significantly faster when exposed to gamma radiation at 500 times the normal background radiation level. The fungi appear to use melanin, a chemical found in human skin as well, in the same fashion as plants use chlorophyll. Like this: A Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe by Michael S. Schneider.

As a youngster schooled in the US during the 1950’s Sputnik era I was exposed to the sciences, including NASA rocket launches, facts about the moon and planets, kitchen chemistry, supermarket encyclopedias and Mr. Wizard on television, and became very interested in all kinds of scientific wonders, with a passion for electricity and magnetism, chemistry sets, Erector sets, model rocketry, the microscope and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not books. However, I wasn’t an exceptional math student. Mathematics was mostly presented as the memorization of rules and boring paper drill, but I kept up. Yet in my mid-teens I became earnestly interested in the geometry of nature and began lifelong research into the subject, not suspecting everywhere it would lead.

I remember pondering the same hexagonal shape found in the beehive, quartz crystal and metal hex-nuts. I took the saying attributed to Pythagoras that “All is number” and Galileo’s idea of a “Book of Nature” quite literally: Drone Survival Guide. Introduction to Integrated Design | Architecture. His technologies for healing and eradicating any disease (known or unknown) stand ready for use in hospitals and clinics worldwide. Dr. Keshes’s vision is to release these technologies to the world’s scientists for manufacture and implementation into global society for the betterment of all mankind. And he is doing exactly that. Here is a summary of some of the amazing discoveries and inventions Dr. 1) Magnetism and Plasmatronics and counter gravity is here. 2) It is real and it is suppressed technology: China Iran and Russia now have this technology, as well as Belgium and Holland. 3) Health benefits of using a replicator to create vitamins as a plasmatron 4) Any disease (even those that have not been generated yet) can be eradicated. 5) NASA (controlled by NAZIS to save their skin after WWII) built old technology spacecraft. 35) Dr.

You Can Change Your DNA. When we are born, the deoxyribonucleic acid/DNA in our bodies contains the blueprints for who we are and instructions for who we will become. For example, it can tell our eyes to eventually turn from blue at birth to hazel later on, our length to grow from 20 inches to 70 and direct a multitude of other changes over the course of our lives. Many people have mistakenly believed that the DNA with which we are born is the sole determinant for who we are and will become, but scientists have understood for decades that this genetic determinism is a flawed theory. The field of epigenetics refers to the science that studies how the development, functioning and evolution of biological systems are influenced by forces operating outside the DNA sequence, including intracellular, environmental and energetic influences.

Since the 1950s scientists have accepted that epigenetic influence is critical in our development. Stem cell biologist and bestselling author Bruce Lipton, Ph.D. Scientists discover second, secret DNA code. Scientists have long believed that DNA tells the cells how to make proteins. But the discovery of a new, second DNA code Thursday suggests the body speaks two different languages. The findings in the journal Science may have big implications for how medical experts use the genomes of patients to interpret and diagnose diseases, researchers said.

The newfound genetic code within deoxyribonucleic acid, the hereditary material that exists in nearly every cell of the body, was written right on top of the DNA code scientists had already cracked. Rather than concerning itself with proteins, this one instructs the cells on how genes are controlled. Its discovery means DNA changes, or mutations that come with age or in response to viruses, may be doing more than what scientists previously thought, he said. "Many DNA changes that appear to alter protein sequences may actually cause disease by disrupting gene control programs or even both mechanisms simultaneously. " Source: redicecreations.com.
