However, with the help of technology, a number of reading strategies are being adapted to mirror the help that one-on-one work offers readers. Teachers can leverage technology in ways that allow them to reach students when and while they read, maximizing opportunities to move students from basic/below basic reading levels to proficient and advanced. In this session, the presenter will offer participants examples of materials that have been adapted from paper-based to digital instruction, including Think Alouds adapted to Podcasting and Directed Reading and Thinking Activities adapted to ActivelyLearn.com.
