Using a little yarn and a great deal of love, wonderful little booties can be made which will keep baby's feet snuggly warm and cozy. There are a mass of free crochet patterns available, and crochet really lends itself to booties - no messing around with double pointed needles, or complicated stitchery! An exceptionally east way to make a pair of booties is to make a simple square and cunningly fold it into a bootie!

This is very easy to do and can simply be made from a square crocheted in Single Crochet. These booties are very easy to make in a variety of sizes. Make two identical squares. To make up - fold the square in half from corner to corner to make a triangle. One of the sides will be the base of the foot, the other will partly form the back and then the rest left open for the foot hole.
