PCB CNC

Introduction CNCs can facilitate in the creation of PCBS: Manual etching and then using CNC to drill automatically. Cutting out the board , to have round PCBs, or similar. Automated isolation routing: From a PCB some surface parts are milled away, so that the connection copper area are left isolated. Currently, all three steps are working on the Geilomat. For the isolation, there is the normal approach, where all contours of copper areas are milled. Some results are given in the soup of the Geilomat 0805 SMD resistors work fine, although the solder locations are not visible any more. Examples. OSH Park ~ Welcome. Supercapacitor Digital Calipers. I got some supercapacitors from Katie, and my first project was to replace the battery in my digital calipers with a capacitor.

Supercapacitor Digital Calipers

Digital calipers are great, exept for when the batteries are dead. Who has those tiny watch batteries laying around anyways? Now, my calipers can be charged up via USB, and I never have to worry about dead batteries. The calipers fully charge in approximately 20 seconds, and they last for a few days of moderate use after a single charge. The supercapacitor itself is a Suntan 10 farad capacitor. Cover removed showing wiring the charging port and switch. Cheap-thermocam.tk. Gabonator/DS203. Batch PCB. DorkbotPDX. Instead of a weekly order, 2 layer circuit boards are now sent to the fab when the panel fills up.

DorkbotPDX

This means panels are going out 2 to 3 times a week instead of just once a week. Contents New ordering website! OSH Park! 4 layer orders are now every two weeks. I'm planning another beta 2-layer medium-run order on April 1st, 2013 for people that want at least 150 square inches of their boards. Order Status Keep up to date on the order status updates and to be notified of when the next order will go out: What is this?

I've been coordinating a group circuit board order. It's $5 per square inch for three copies of your two layer design. Your two layer boards will be shipped within about 14 days of the order date. For four layer designs, it's $10 for three copies. Four layer boards will be mailed within 16 days. Who's eligible Although this was started primarily for the DorkbotPDX community, it's open to any hobbyist anywhere. Your order helps us continue doing it! What you get The Costs. Dual scope with ATTiny45. This submini USB scope is based on a Atmel Tiny45 cpu and cost less than 5€ with a homemade pcb It has 2 analog inputs and can supply 5V ont the 4 pins header on the right.

Dual scope with ATTiny45

One of the inputs can be scaled down with the trim pot. The firmware in the Tiny45 is written in C and compiled with Winavr and usb source code from obdev. As you can see, there is no crystal , the software sync the internal 16.5Mhz pll clock with the USB clock. The cost with a home made pcb is around 5€.Of course, do not expect 1Gs/s HID does not alow that data rate ! It has been designed to plug into a project breadboard so there is no need for a power supply. On this picture it is used to test a high precision light sensor. It does connect to a PC with usb in HID mode, without the need to install any specific driver. Here is the schematic, so simple ! Thank you to[Milka2009] who made a nice video Bill of material eagle files: usbscope-tiny.zip And last for today, the Windows display software UsbADC.zip.

50MHz DS1052E Rigol Oscilloscope Review. 50MHz DS1052E Rigol Oscilloscope First Impressions 50MHz DS1052E Rigol Oscilloscope I recently purchased a 50MHz DS1052E Rigol Oscilloscope and have been impressed with how many features Rigol has packed into this device!

50MHz DS1052E Rigol Oscilloscope Review

The knobs and buttons have a nice feeling to them and I like the LCD screen and the user interface. I have used the oscilloscope to look at R/C PPM Signals, audio waveforms, NTSC video signals, and done a few custom micro-controller projects with it. The oscilloscope has worked flawlessly and is a joy to use. A view of a single NTSC video Scan-line The oscilloscope trigger menu seems to have all of the features a demanding hobbyist could ask for. It is also easy to setup the trigger hold-off period when analyzing a PPM signal from an R/C radio to keep the updating PPM channels aligned on screen. When working with the oscilloscope I found it to be responsive and intuitive. Dual Channel Signal Comparison. DS0203 Oscilloscope $200. Description: DSO 203 is a pocket size 4 channel digital oscilloscope for common electronic engineering tasks.

DS0203 Oscilloscope $200

It's based on ARM cortex M3 (STM32VCT6), providing 72 MHz analog bandwidth with integrated FPGA and high speed ADC. Internal 2MB USB disk could be used to store waveform, user application and upgrade firmware. Feature: (beta) Pocket size and light weight; Two 72 MHz analog channels and two digital channels; Signal Generator ; Auto Measurement; Various Triggering Option; Easy waveform storage; Firmware upgrade; User applications; Open source.
