Flash and the HTML5 <video> tag
There's been a lot of discussion lately about whether or not the HTML5 our HTML5 player . This work has shown us that, while the It's important to understand what a site like YouTube needs from the browser in order to provide a good experience for viewers as well as content creators. We need to do more than just point the browser at a video file like the image tag does - there’s a lot more to it than just retrieving and displaying a video. The <video> tag certainly addresses the basic requirements and is making good progress on meeting others, but the <video> tag does not currently meet all the needs of a site like YouTube:Russell Chun is a multimedia developer, author, and educator specializing in visualizing science, data, and story ideas for the web. He is on the adjunct faculty at City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate School of Journalism where he established and teaches their course in data-driven interactive journalism. He is also on the faculty in the Multimedia Arts Degree Program at Sessions College for Professional Design . He is the author of several books, interactive and video products on multimedia, and writes for Adobe Press. Russell previously taught at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where he developed their first Interactive Workshop course for New Media Masters students.

Everytime you’re working on a new website there are some things and/or actions that should be considered before publishing a new website and making everything public. It is very important to be prepared in advance, as things are inevitable. In this article I’ll try to capture some of these important things and/or factors many developers often forget during the process of web development.
