Skinny Taco Dip. A must have at every large get together: birthdays, football, holidays – this dip always disappears!

Skinny Taco Dip

This is my daughter Karina's favorite dip, which she has nicknamed "the stuff". It's easy to prepare and everyone always wants the recipe when they try it. Serve it at your next party with your favorite baked tortilla chips and play around with the toppings – try jalapeños, scallions or avocados. Greek-Style Wrap. It’s been such a hectic week with J-man off to school.

Greek-Style Wrap

Confession booth open? I feel kinda lost—I miss him a lot and the house is so empty and quiet. I guess that’s to be expected after being at home with him for fours years straight, right? But he’s having a wonderful time and that’s all that really matters. Somehow I have to find a whole new rhythm—a new lifestyle if you will—and work around school and lunch hours, not to mention the many trips to either drop him off or pick him up. We pulled through. Ingredients: tzatziki chicken 1/2 red onion iceberg lettuce black olives feta wraps Directions: You’ll need tzatziki.

I cooked one more boneless chicken breast last night and tossed it in the fridge. Thinly slice the red onion and the feta cheese. You’ll need a little extra crunch in your wrap. And chop up a handful of black olives. You can make the Greek wraps yourself, but remember I was strapped for time, so I went for store-bought wraps. Paragalo, here’s my wrap. Guacamummus or Hummamole.

So…what’s a girl to do when gorgeous, big, ripe avocados are on sale during “Hip Hip for Hummus Week”?

Guacamummus or Hummamole

Make guacamumus! Or hummamole! (Or if you really want to be boring – avocado hummus.) :) Whatever you want to call it, this fantastic marriage of my two favorite dips — hummus and guacamole — is definitely a winner. I went for a good blend of my two favorite recipes, but depending on what ingredients you have around, feel free to play around with the recipe. Hooray for dips that are fun to say, and to eat! You’ll love this Guacamummus or Hummamole (Avocado Hummus) Recipe!
