Alors que le piratage d'une vingtaine de sociétés occidentales - dont Google - est devenu un nouveau sujet de brouille entre les États-Unis et la Chine, le Washington Post rapporte que la firme de Mountain View pourrait demander l'aide de la National Security Agency (NSA), la fameuse agence gouvernementale américaine spécialisée dans le renseignement électromagnétique. Selon le quotidien américain, qui s'appuie sur des sources anonymes, Google souhaiterait que l'agence américaine passe en revue la sécurité actuellement mise en place par l'entreprise californienne, afin de déceler et de corriger d'éventuelles faiblesses.
