Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) Education

Economic growth in the 21st century will be driven by our nation's ability to both generate ideas and translate them into innovative products and services. Improving high school graduation rates and ensuring that all students are ready for college and the workforce is vital to states' ability to compete in the global economy. State leaders increasingly view science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) achievement as a critical component of success in college, career and life.

Resources

In this section you will find a host of resources for teaching IBSE. We’ve searched through many books, education packs and websites to find resources relevant for teaching in botanic gardens and other informal education settings. For each one we’ve prepared a short review and a link to the relevant website. http://www.inquirebotany.org/en/resources.html

This could occur if global warming is sufficient to cause large scale melting of arctic sea ice and the Greenland ice sheet. Such a change in the current may be gradual (over centuries) or very rapid (over a few years). Either would cause planet wide changes in climate. This effect may be part of what starts and stops the ice ages.

As protests continues to grow in major cities worldwide, those who are paying attention know that a time of rioting and collapse is fast approaching . European banks are on the brink of default, and a collapse in Europe will drag the U.S. even more deeply into its own downward spiral of financial insolvency. How long can the system hold out before we see massive protests, riots and even a "second American revolution" begin to unfold? More importantly, how will you not only *survive* the inevitable disruptions in basic resources (water, electricity, heating oil, local law enforcement, etc.) but how will you THRIVE through any crisis and always come out ahead?
Logic and Faith in the context of Jon Rappoport's Logic and Analysis Course . By Jon Rappoport, Author of the LOGIC AND ANALYSIS COURSE qjrconsulting@gmail.com I’m approaching home-schooling parents with this course, because I believe a revolution in the education system should begin at home, with the family. There are several confusions about how logic relates to faith, and I’d like to clear those up. Consider the amazing amount of information floating around in our culture.

http://www.masternewmedia.org/future-education-breaking-connection-learning-assessment/ In the not too distant future you will learn new key skills through free or low-cost professional online courses, available both from prestigious world-class academic institutions as well as from private experts. Companies will in turn tap into these new learning ecosystems and knowledge providers to discover and hire their top talent. The future of learning and education is one of the topics that interests me the most, and Epic 2020 is a good provocative piece on what the future of education and certification may soon look like. I in fact believe that, besides the final epilogue, the unrolling of true recent events and the new prospected future ones, as depicted inside Epic 2020, is very realistic indeed. Traditional educational and academic institutions may be indeed on the verge of a major revolution affecting the whole work marketplace, as they will need to face and act upon the successful evidence that new approaches to learning and working are increasingly providing.

Q. Why do I see a script error when I try to open a localized course by using the LCDS? When you localize a course in the LCDS, the language string must be correctly specified in the imsmanifest.xml file.
