The Legacy of Randy Pausch and His Lecture Videos. My friend and mentor Professor Randy Pausch (1960-2008) was a virtual reality pioneer, human-computer interaction researcher, co-founder of CMU's Entertainment Technology Center, and creator of the Alice software project.
