NT01 Cycles. Z1 Review. I changed out my stock RE070s for a set of 245/40/17 Dunlop Z1 Star Specs on the stock BBS rims.

Z1 Review

The comments about the Dunlops have almost all been good or great. For me it was a toss up between the Kumo XSs and the Dunlops. The final push for me was the wet traction as our group has alot of rainy track days. NT01 Review. Z1 Heat Cycles. NT01 Prep. NT01 Review. NT01 Test. The problem with most big tire companies is that they're so big they already know what's good for you and your car without living in your world or even asking your opinion.

NT01 Test

By the time most ultra high-performance tires come to market, they've been focus-grouped and dumbed-down to the point where no meaningful performance remains. That scenario is about as far away as you can get from Nitto's philosophy and its new NT01 R-compound tire. As we've grown to know them, the small group of dedicated enthusiasts who make up Nitto Tire is there for the "true" enthusiast. Nitto engineers visit road courses, dragstrips, and shops across the country; the company asks customers what they want, and then, surprise--give it to them. Heck, Nitto even regularly asks us what we think--the only manufacturer that's ever asked for our two cents before designing a new tire.

The NT01, in short, is going to revolutionize life for a select few enthusiasts who value extreme grip. Grip is just the opposite. NT01. Gopro Mics. ZII Review. I've run them at Streets of Willow Springs CCW.

ZII Review

My previous best was a 1:32.xxx (don't laugh, I know it's slow...) on a stock s2000 (wheels and everything). I recently installed these Z2s on 17x9 rims and am running 255 square with a GTC200 - everything else is still OEM (shocks and springs). Lap times dropped to 1:29.1xx. Yes, some of it is from the mods for sure, but overall the tires provide a good amount of responsiveness and grip. Torque Pro. The Torque Pro Android app.

I'll go a little in detail of how it works and what all it does and you can decide if its worth the money. (About $30 for app and adaptor). Before I begin I would like to give a special thanks to bobdec for introducing this app to me and pointing me in the right direction to purchasing the ELM327 OBDII adaptor. Also thanks to Cocobolo95 and GaryDoug for showing me GaryDougs program that works wonderfully. Tire Reviews. Nitto NT01 Cycles. Tire Review II. Getting a flat is a legitimate reason to celebrate: you get to upgrade all your tires even if they have another couple of thousand miles left on them.

Lico Suit. Rival Review. Michelin North America’s BFGoodrich brand just recently unveiled the all new BFG g-Force Rival, an ultra high performance tire designed for drivers that want versatile tires for their high performance street cars; tires sticky enough to be used in autocross and track-day events, then driven home.

Rival Review

Last week, I was given the opportunity to test the new BFG Rival at NOLA Motorsports Park, and it delivered on every single one of its claims. The BFG Rival might even be the best new tire in the Tire Rack lineup for weekend autocrossers, road racers, and midnight canyon runners. However, before we jump to any conclusions, let’s take a closer look at our experiences on the racetrack. Our experience at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana (just about 35 minutes outside of New Orleans) started off with an amazing Southern breakfast of shrimp & grits, followed by a presentation by BFG representatives, led by brand manager, Andrew Koury. iRacing Intro. It depends on your setup from my perspective. Your initial posts really covers it for me. I started with stock C5 Z06 and Carbotechs. Fanatec BMW. iRacing. iRacing Screen Setup. Fanatec Pedal Review. Although it turned out to be a mixed bag, Fanatec pleasantly surprised us with its Porsche GT2 and Clubsport Pedals in January of this year -- despite a roaring fan and shaky shifter mounts. Now, we're saying hello to a new trio of racing sim-related goods intended for Forza Motorsport 4 on Xbox 360: the $249.95 Forza Motorsport CSR Wheel, $59.95 shifter set, and $149.95 CSR Elite Pedals. If you'll recall, it was back in March that we checked some of this kit out, and now with Forza 4 here, we hooked this mashup of gear up with our Playseat Evolution for a massive amount of virtual spins.

So, did this combination help speed past the checkerboard with a respectable feel? Shift past the break find out in our full review. Nitto NT01 Review. 2/20/06: Nitto NT01 Testing @ Streets of Willow CCW: (BEST TIME: 1:27.45) Setup: Tein Super Racing Dampers, Volk CE28N, 245/45/17, Voltex Wing, Recaro SPG, Cobalt VR (F), Hawk Blue (R) Summary: First thing I noticed was a significant improvement in the block / casing rigidity.

I belive this translates into smoother break away and recovery as I was able to approach & exceed the limit of the tires smoothly. Also the higher block rigidity allows the tire to keep a more consistent contact patch to the surface. The Nitto's allow for some degree of smooth slides thus I was able to enter the corner at a higher speed and almost pitch the car to abruptly change the cars direction with almost a zero counter over-steer stance. I have always said that the Toyo RA1s were fast but bit boring to drive.

To me, driving only on Grip was not exciting as sliding around on street tires.
