Research interests I am a fungal systematist, particularly interested in Ascomycete and one of the few expert, world wide, on the taxonomoy of industrially important Penicillium species. I developped modern molecular systematics more than ten years ago and recently introduced a metagenomic approach to assess the diversity of fungal communities (endophytes, marine fungi, cheeses microbiome). We developped a new thematic with M. López, recently hired at MNHN, to study the evolution of the reproduction in Ascomycetes.
