Barrowman Targets Merlyn's "Arrow" Return. As "Arrow" approaches its season finale, it's clear Oliver Queen is going to need a lot of help. With Sebastian Blood in control of Starling City as its mayor, Slade Wilson overrunning the city with an army of Mirakuru-empowered Deathstroke soldiers, Thea Queen in grave danger and Team Arrow slimming down its membership by the minute, Oliver is in a desperate situation.

Desperate enough that he'll accept aid from just about anybody -- including his Season One nemesis, Malcolm Merlyn. Played by "Torchwood's" John Barrowman, Merlyn was responsible for the giant earthquake that engulfed the Glades in "Arrow's" first season finale, appearing only briefly in season two to reveal that his demise had been exaggerated -- and that he's the biological father of Thea Queen. Now, the stage is set for the character's more substantial return -- and with the recent death of Moira Queen at the hands of Deathstroke, Merlyn's not too happy. Professor Anthony Ivo (pronunciation: EYE-voh) is a fictional character, a mad scientist in DC Comics. He first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #30 (June 1960). Fictional character biography[edit] Professor Ivo's disfiguring experience was not enough to keep him from the temptation of the immortality serum and he once again brought about his own deformity by drinking it.

As both Ice and the Green Lantern rings were gone, Ivo apparently consigned himself to his own horrible fate and was later imprisoned. Later, he would form a partnership of sorts with fellow mad scientist T.O. Morrow, constructing the powerful mechanized superheroine Tomorrow Woman as a trap to mindwipe the JLA with an electromagnetic pulse. While both men bickered and bantered all the while, they formed a friendship or camaraderie of sorts, even drinking a toast when he was imprisoned by the JLA. Later on, the nearly omnipotent android Hourman sought Professor Ivo to have him explain the very nature of androids.

(PHOTO) A few weeks ago, The CW released the first image of Grant Gustin in costume for its highly anticipated in-the-works Arrow spin-off pilot, The Flash. It featured a smiling Gustin, but only showed the head of his suit. At the time, many of you said you'd reserve judgement until you saw the full outfit, so I hope you've done your judging stretches and worked those finger muscles, because we now have the first full image of Grant Gustin as Barry Allen as the Flash: As Arrow fans already know, the potential series centers on Gustin's Barry Allen, an assistant from the Central City Police Department's Criminal and Forensic Science Division who ends up with superspeed after a freak accident at S.T.A.R.

The Flash's new look was created by Colleen Atwood, an Oscar-winning costume designer who also did Oliver's costume on Arrow. Arrow: Is This Harley Quinn? And Is Cassidy Alexa Playing Her? A lot of people noticed some familiar pigtails in the short promo trailer for Arrow’s “Suicide Squad” episode – even though the shot was not in the extended version of the trailer that The CW gave a wider online release to. These are the pigtails in question: Many have speculated that this is Harley Quinn, who has herself appeared in Suicide Squad comics in DC Comics’ New 52 initiative. There has been no official confirmation from the producers, the studio, or the network on this one, so this should still remain at the “speculation” status for now. For all we know it could just be pigtails that are just there to REMIND us of Harley, yet, not necessarily Harley. “Suicide Squad” airs Wednesday, March 19 on The CW.
