This set includes both a vertical and horizontal storyboard with a clipping mask for adding an image, and six clipping masks with color fill adjustment layers for selecting colors in the image to make a custom color palette. The templates are web-sized, but you can enlarge them for printing (before adding your image). I had so much fun creating these templates.
I am the first to admit I have trouble picking colors for my designs, but these templates allow me to pick complimentary colors from any image. These color palettes can be used "as is" for posting on your blog, or for color inspiration for any type of design; such as storyboard, cards, web, interior, etc. You will need Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to use these templates. I have used Alice In Wonderland as an example, but there are lots of books out there available in electronic form. I started with what I thought was the easiest way to access the TEXT, in a way that can be manipulated easily – that meant Project Gutenberg, which does have Alice In Wonderland available as an e-book. The problem with e-books is they look like your computer screen. The fonts are selected for readability, not cause they are nice to look at. I started with a fabric-paper collage incorporating lots of vintage French imagery and text. On top more images were added (from Alpha Stamps and Cavellini labels). I then used a large stamp of the Eiffel Tower from Tim Holtz and stamped it 4 times on a transparency sheet, using blue Staz-On Ink. This was oversewed to cover the entire ATCs as you can see above. I then cut some really stiff card and glued it to the insides to strengthen the box sides. Now to decorate it. My inspiration comes from the old boxes and crates that you might find in an old shed. I laid out 4 pieces of paper, dabbed on some French Roast and Taupe.
