M Hello friends! I LOVE Halloween. It’s my favorite holiday filled with childhood memories of dressing up, make believe and of course there’s the candy!

I have been wanting to create a Halloween decor piece by inserting a Configurations Box into the front of a pumpkin. I hope you like it as much as I do… Supplies: Position Configuration Box on pumpkin and trace with a pen or pencil. Paint the outside of the Configurations box with Distress Paint. Cut Laboratorie Paper Stash 8 1/4” x 8 1/4” to line the inside of the box, score all sides 1 5/8” in from edge and trim corners with scissors. Adhere vials with Multi Medium. Von Pappe II: Top Hats and Moustaches...and a little Halloween. Servus and welcome to my mid-month reminder project for SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges! Our theme this month is Top Hats and Moustaches and I think both are essential elements with steampunk as they recall the miraculous era of Victorian gentlemen and engineers.... I love browsing flea market stands for vintage photographs and I think all men looked so distinguished back then - simply because of their impressive moustaches and the suits.

But then it is Halloween season at the moment...so I am afraid I got once more carried away and there's no moustache to find with my project for our steampunk challenge but at least a top hat...phew! And honestly...a moustache would have covered up the beautiful teeth, right? As I had no top hat stamp for the project I had in mind, I made my grinning chap using a Paper Artsy skull stamp and combining it with a scanned, put to correct size and printed out top hat image from this wonderful book... ...which I found at amazon.com. Booo!... Claudia xxx. Scrappin it: Halloween Altered Spell Book - part 2. Last week we created a spook-tacular altered spell book and I promised thatthis week we'll work on the inside. Well...here it is. An apothecary style, shadow box, magical potions and spell book! First you need to glue all the pages to the back cover. This will basically create the base for the shadow box.

Next you will need to cut out four little compartments in the book by removing all the pages. The best way to do that is to use a ruler and a craft knife. After distressing and spraying the shadow boxes it's time to fill them with little bottles, containers and everything Halloween. Finally I added a chipboard with the word spells on it. Have fun creating!
