I try to avoid it wherever possible, but some people actually like it. It's inspired music, art and dance, so why shouldn't it provide the inspiration for future innovation? Tim McGee: With the right point of view, all of our design, all of our challenges that we have, from engineering cities to cleaning water, to optimising our organisations, our businesses, nature's actually solved those challenges in its own way. And so biomimicry is really about knowing where and how to look at the natural world for those answers.
