TRIZ

TRIZ (/ˈtriːz/; Russian: теория решения изобретательских задач, teoriya resheniya izobretatelskikh zadatch) is "a problem-solving, analysis and forecasting tool derived from the study of patterns of invention in the global patent literature".[1] It was developed by the Soviet inventor and science fiction author Genrich Altshuller and his colleagues, beginning in 1946.

In English the name is typically rendered as "the theory of inventive problem solving",[2][3] and occasionally goes by the English acronym TIPS. Following Altshuller's insight, the theory developed on a foundation of extensive research covering hundreds of thousands of inventions across many different fields to produce a theory which defines generalisable patterns in the nature of inventive solutions and the distinguishing characteristics of the problems that these inventions have overcome.

Feng Office Community Edition

It is a fully featured online office suite with a similar set of features as other online office suites, like Google Apps, Microsoft Office Live, Zimbra, and Zoho. The application can be downloaded and installed on a server. Feng Office could also be categorized as collaborative software[2] and as personal information manager software. Features[edit] Feng Office Community Edition main features include project management, document management, contact management, e-mail and time management. Licensing[edit] Feng Office Community Edition is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3. Technology used[edit] Feng Office uses PHP, JavaScript, AJAX (ExtJS) and MySQL technology.

Several open source projects served as a basis for development. System requirements[edit] The server could run on any operating system.

These ceilings apply to the figures for individual firms only. A firm which is part of larger grouping may need to include employee/turnover/balance sheet data from that grouping too. Future oriented thinking is vital for any forward planning or policy activity to be able to meet future challenges proactively.

Foresight enhances such thinking by gathering anticipatory intelligence from a wide range of knowledge sources in a systematic way and linking it to today's decision making. FOR-LEARN

It is perhaps the most emblematic Foresight or future studies method. Scenarios are not predictions about the future but rather similar to simulations of some possible futures. They are used both as an exploratory method or a tool for decision-making, mainly to highlight the discontinuities from the present and to reveal the choices available and their potential consequences. Historical notes The term scenario originates in the dramatic arts. An outline of the plot of the dramatic work giving particulars of the scenes, characters, etc.; The outline or sometimes the complete script of a motion picture or a shooting script; An imagined sequence of events, especially any of several detailed plans or possibilities. The scenario method is probably one of the main concepts and most widely used methods in Foresight.

Scenarios were first used by corporations.
