I’ve seen some surreal sculptures before, but nothing like these made of wood. His sculptures of children are both attractive and disquieting at the same time and rendered with an amazing perfection. Alex Chinneck. “From the Knees of My Nose to the Belly of My Toes” is a surreal and innovative installation by British artist and designer Alex Chinneck. Chinneck has peeled away the original facade off a four storey house in the seaside town of margate in kent, UK, and given it a new face so that the house appears to be sliding off onto the ground.
